Panelization for Efficient PCB Assembly

Panelization is a method of combining multiple PCBs onto a single panel before fabrication. This can significantly improve the efficiency of PCB fabrication and assembly, as it reduces the number of individual boards that need to be processed.

Techonics PCB Assembly Panel Production

Techonics offers PCB assembly panel production with a minimum size of 50mm x 50mm and a maximum size of 310mm x 410mm. We can accept your panelized PCB design file or help you panelize your design based on your specific requirements.

Panel Requirements

Here are the panel requirements for PCB assembly at Techonics:

Panel with V-CUT/V-GROOVE:
0.0mm spacing between each unit
V-cut cannot be used for panels with units of different sizes.
Panel with TAB-ROUTE:
2.0mm spacing between each unit
Two options:
Tab-Route with breaking holes:
Breaking hole diameter: 0.3mm-1.0mm
Spacing between breaking holes: ≥0.25mm
Number of breaking holes per tab: 5-6
Tab-Route with tabs:
Tab width: 1.0mm
Panel with both V-CUT and ROUTE Fiducial:

2.0mm spacing between each unit
Refer to the image for design requirements.
Fiducial Marks and Mounting Holes

Fiducial marks:
At least 3 per panel
Diameter: 1.0mm
Placed in the middle of the tooling strips
Left marks: 10.0mm from board edge
Right marks: 15.0mm from board edge
Mounting holes:
Diameter: 3.0mm
Tooling strip width: 7.0mm
At least 5.0mm from the edge of the board
