Description
Description:
The Orange Pi NAS expansion card makes it possible to transform an Orange Pi Zero into a file sharing server for less than $10 by plugging in an external SATA hard drive. This expansion card is plugged into the 13-pin Orange Pi Zero connector. The card adds support for mSATA hard drives, at least on paper. Indeed, the designers used a JMS578 circuit to convert the SATA interface to USB. You do not have to expect extraordinary performances. This small card to be very accessible (about $10) adds 2 USB 2.0 ports, a power connector for the hard drive, audio / video output, microphone and infrared receiver.

Overview:
Microcontroller: ATmega32u4 Operating Voltage: 5V Flash Memory: 32 KB of which 4 KB used by bootloader SRAM: 2.5 KB EEPROM: 1 KB Clock Speed: 16 MHz The board contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable to get started. The Esplora has built-in USB communication; it can appear to a connected computer as a mouse or keyboard, in addition to a virtual (CDC) serial / COM port. This has other implications for the behavior of the board.
