Overview:
In order to communicate between computers, external devices, and intelligent instruments with different serial port standards, we must first convert the communication signals.
This converter is compatible with RS-232C and RS-485 standards. It can convert single-ended PS-232 signals into balanced RS-485 differential signals, and extend the communication distance to 1.2 kilometers. The converter is passive and does not require external power. It uses a special current pump technology to take power from RS-232 signals (RTS, DTR, TXD) without the need to initialize the RS-232 interface in advance.

Instructions:
- The DB9 interface is an RS232 port, connected to the COM port of the system control port
- (A), (B) are RS485 signal output ports, and connected to control equipment, such as a decoder. For RS485 communication, it is a half-duplex communication method
- The 485 interfaces of the most remote RS485 device of the output circuit is connected with a 120Ī© resistor in parallel, and one circuit is not more than a 120Ī© resistor
- The RS485 communication specification requires a shielded twisted pair connection. If parallel cables are used, the communication distance will be greatly reduced.
